Wild blueberry

Wild blueberry is NOT an American blueberry! The wild blueberry (Vaccinium myrtillus) used by Cressana should not be confused with the American blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum), also known simply as blueberry. This American blueberry is a cultivated species with larger berries, but a significantly lower content of bioactive substances. The wild bilberry has a traditional use in European healthcare.
